VETASSESS Chinese Qualifications Verification Service verifies the authenticity of qualifications awarded from P.R. China for applicants seeking a Skills Assessment for migration purposes. This service is required before a Skills Assessment can be conducted.
Important note
As of 6 May 2024, VETASSESS no longer accepts combined CQV and Skills Assessment applications. Applicants must lodge a CQV-only application first and can proceed with Skills Assessment by entering a valid CQV application number. For Master Degree qualifications, the underpinning Bachelor Degree must also be verified. For Doctoral Degree qualifications, both underpinning Bachelor and Master Degrees must be verified. Verification reports can be reused for subsequent skilled migration applications with the Department of Home Affairs. A 'suitable' verification result does not guarantee a successful Skills Assessment outcome. Any missing required documentation may cause delays. All documents must follow the Acceptable Formats Guide.
