This page describes the ACS Migration Skills Assessment process for IT, Data Science, and Cyber Security professionals seeking to migrate to Australia. It covers eligibility criteria, assessment pathways, fees, and application procedures.

Important note

Eligibility Criteria

5 criteria
  • Must be an IT, Data Science, or Cyber Security professional with occupation on ACS-assessed ANZSCO lists
  • Professional ICT work experience undertaken from 18 years and over is applicable
  • Must have ICT qualifications and/or work experience at a professional level
  • Educational qualifications and work experience must be closely related to the nominated ANZSCO occupation
  • Each applicant assessed on individual basis and must meet ACS assessment criteria
  • Personal identification documents
  • Educational qualifications (assessed for AQF comparability)
  • Work experience documentation and employment episode details
  • Evidence demonstrating professional ICT level skills and experience closely related to nominated occupation
