This page describes the Eligibility Assessment, the first step for overseas-qualified physiotherapists seeking registration in Australia. It covers eligibility criteria, required documents, application steps, and fees for the document-based assessment that verifies entry-level physiotherapy qualifications.
Important note
After passing the Eligibility Assessment and completing the Cultural Safety Training, applicants receive an Interim Certificate valid for two years, which is required for Limited Registration for Supervised Practice with Ahpra.
