The Institution of Surveyors NSW (ISNSW) is the authorised assessing authority for skills assessments of overseas applicants for the Surveyor occupation (ANZSCO 232212) for Australian skilled migration. The assessment evaluates overseas qualifications for equivalence to an Australian bachelor degree in Surveying and examines applicant experience.

All fees are in Australian dollars (AUD) and exclusive of GST; GST applies to applicants within Australia. A 1.73% surcharge applies to credit card transactions. Applications must be in PDF format. The assessment is based on equivalence of overseas qualifications to Australian bachelor degree and examination of applicant experience. This assessment is for immigration purposes only and does not guarantee employment. Eligibility Criteria
4 criteria- Applicants must hold the equivalent of an Australian bachelor degree in Surveying
- Only for the Surveyor occupation (ANZSCO 232212)
- Applicants in other surveying fields (Quantity Surveying, Valuation, General Practice Surveying, Building Surveying) must use other assessing bodies
- Surveying and Cartographic Associate applicants should be directed to VETASSESS
- Completed Application Form for Assessment of Professional Qualifications (in PDF format, not exceeding 20MB)
- Employer Reference (using provided template)
- Statutory Declaration
- Education and training documentation for qualification assessment
- Documentation of work experience and responsibilities
- Hydrographic Surveyors without FIG/IHO/ICA IBSC-recognised Category A qualification must complete education mapping tool
