VETASSESS Chinese Qualifications Verification Service verifies the authenticity of qualification documents from P.R. China for applicants seeking a VETASSESS Skills Assessment for migration purposes. This service is required before a skills assessment can be conducted if applicants hold Chinese qualifications.

Important note

As of 6:00 pm 10 May 2024, VETASSESS no longer accepts combined CQV and Skills Assessment applications. Applicants can now lodge a CQV-only application and proceed with the Skills Assessment application by entering a valid CQV application number. For Master's and Doctoral degrees, underpinning Bachelor (and Master for Doctorates) degrees must also be included in the CQV process. Missing documentation may cause delays. All submitted documents will not be returned. A suitable verification result does not guarantee a suitable skills assessment outcome; qualifications must still be assessed against Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) guidelines.
